Duck & Cover

Hop a brave little duck across an endless, chunky war zone, one lane at a time. Tap or swipe up to hop forward and swipe sideways to dodge. Roads are full of jeeps, trucks and tanks, rivers only have logs and rafts to stand on, armoured trains come thundering through after the warning bell, and minefields are marked with little red signs. Your duck shoots back by itself at the nearest goose trooper or drone, so all you have to think about is where to hop next.

When the bullets fly, duck and roll: for a moment nothing can touch you. Trees, sandbags and walls stop bullets, your helmet saves you once, and grenade crates give you something to lob three rows up the field. Don't dawdle, though. Stand still for too long and the artillery walks its red target circles right onto you.

Along the way you'll find places to hop into. A machine-gun nest mows down everything in the lanes ahead, a sniper post slows time and hands you a scope to pick off targets far up the field, and a parked tank lets you drive straight through traffic, crushing barbed wire and firing its cannon as you go.

Reach the helipad at the end of each level and a helicopter swoops in to lift you out to the next front: a golden-hour forest, a blazing desert, a snowy front and a ruined city at night lit by fires and searchlights. After that, it's endless. It's all cartoon and nobody gets hurt: troopers pop into feathers and stars. Play with a finger, a mouse or the keyboard, in portrait or landscape.
