Twofold

Every card you play lands at the bottom of one of four columns. Put a 2 on a 2 and they fold into a 4; if that 4 now sits on a 4, it folds again, and the chain multiplier climbs with every step. Build all the way to 2048 and the card clears itself for a huge bonus.

Each column holds eight cards, so every drop matters. You can see the next card coming, bin the ones you can't use (discards refill as you score), and earn power-ups at score milestones and for chains of three or more: Undo, Swap, a Wild card that matches anything, a Bomb for one stubborn card, and a Hammer that smashes a whole column.
