About this game

Concrete Crown is a top-down open-world crime-survival game. You wake up in the Larkfield suburbs with empty pockets and a city that wants you gone. Search dumpsters, wrecks and building sites for scrap, wood, cloth and parts, craft a steel pipe, then work your way up to pistols, SMGs, shotguns and rifles at your own gunsmith bench.

Survival runs deep. Eat up to three different meals at once: each one raises your health and stamina for a while. Rest under your own roof and you recover faster and learn quicker. Seven skills level up as you use them: shooting, melee, driving, building, dealing, stealth and scavenging.

Build a real base. Foundations, walls, doors, windows, stairs, floors and roofs snap to a grid up to three storeys high, and structural support shows as a colour overlay while you build: overhang too far and it all comes down. Fill it with stashes, beds, workbenches, lights, sandbags, spike barricades and razor wire, then claim a bed to make it your safehouse.

Go into business. Grow fictional crops under lamps, refine them at a lab bench, pack them and sell on the street, where prices change by district and time of night, regulars text you orders, and some buyers are undercover cops. Every deal earns money and draws heat.

Steal any of twelve cars, drift through traffic in the rain and keep ahead of a wanted level that climbs from patrol cars to roadblocks and armoured vans. Break line of sight, hide in a dumpster or get a respray to lose them. Meanwhile rival gangs patrol their turf and come to raid your safehouse in waves.

Five districts stand between you and the top: Larkfield, the Gullwharf docks, the Cinderworks, downtown's Crown and Velvet Hills. Each is run by a kingpin with telegraphed attacks across three phases. Take their stash houses for intel, find the lair, and break them to open the next district, with better loot, recipes and building pieces.

When the city gets too hot, head south. Take the ferry from the container port (bring your car), a short flight from the airfield or drive the causeway to Costa Talora: palm boulevards and gold glass towers, beach hotels, a marina full of yachts, motels and diners on the old coast road, gated estates and the desert edge, with its own crews, shops, cops and weather, and a motel room to rent.

Built in real-time 3D: street lamps, headlights and the odd flickering sign shine back off rain-soaked streets, lamps throw beams through the mist, and the city turns from sunlit afternoons to storms at night. On foot you sprint, skid, roll and vault fences with real weight behind every step. A lighter graphics path keeps phones smooth. Play with keyboard and mouse, a gamepad, or twin-stick touch controls on your phone.
