Lumen Glide
Swipe an orb of living light through a sunken crystal temple. It rolls until it hits something, and paints every tile it crosses. Light them all.
About this game
Lumen Glide is a swipe-to-roll maze puzzle set in a crystal temple floating in a nebula. Swipe, and your glass orb rolls in a straight line until something stops it, painting every tile it crosses with glowing, wet-looking paint. Light every tile in the hall to clear it. The rule takes a second to learn. The trick is working out the order, because the orb can never stop halfway down a corridor.
There are 200 halls across ten chapters. Every one has been checked by a solver that proves it can be finished and works out its par, the fewest swipes possible. Finish a hall in par for three stars. The first ten halls were built by hand; after that the temple adds something new in each chapter. Brittle glass crumbles into the abyss once you roll off it. Currents only let you cross one way. Mirror gates carry you out of their twin. Bells raise and lower crystal gates. Frost won't let the orb rest, so it skids back the way it came. Then a second orb arrives, both rolling with every swipe, and where gold and azure cross they mix to emerald. In the Stained Glass Nave you paint a picture, matching every tile's colour with the right orb or the right mix.
It's real-time 3D with a glass orb that refracts the temple behind it, paint that spreads and drips, bloom and tilt-shift, and a wave of colour that rolls across the whole hall when you finish. Each chapter has its own light and palette. The music is a slow, generated score of pads and glass bells.
Stuck? A hint shows your next swipe, or you can skip the hall. If brittle glass seals you in, rewind to safety or restart. There's a new daily hall every day, with a streak to keep. It plays in portrait or landscape, with swipes, the arrow keys or WASD.
